Driftwood Press Graphic Novels
Submission Page
Driftwood Press is currently open for graphic novel and comic collection submissions! We love experimental, narrative, and hybrid work, and we're looking for something that impresses us formally and conceptually. Some of our favorite graphic artists are Olivier Schrauwen, Jaime Hernandez, Brecht Evens, Linnea Sterte, Freddy Carasco, Sam Alden, Anders Nilsen, Andy Barron, Taiyo Matsumoto, Inio Asano, Mat Brinkman, Michael DeForge, David Lapham, David Mazzucchelli, Antoine Cosse, & Dash Shaw. Please do not send us superhero narratives, young adult comics, or scripts without an artist attached.

What to Submit
-
You may submit either a full or partial manuscript. We prefer to see the full manuscript.
-
Please do not send us scripts. Please note: we do not match up artists with storytellers or vice-versa.
-
Although your work may be independently published, we tend to prefer that the work is either unpublished or this book offers something the previous publication did not, such as additional pages or a different grouping of the work.
-
Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please update your submission to "withdrawn" within Submittable if your work is accepted elsewhere.

If a few months have passed since submission, feel free to email us for an update.

In-House Publicity

For authors who are unable to afford a traditional publicist, Driftwood Press is proud to offer our authors an in-house publicity option, something that not every small press is able to do.

You can reach our Publicist, Olivia, at publicity@driftwoodpress.net if you have any questions or if you are an outlet and would like to query us regarding features, interviews, author contact requests, or collaborations. We look forward to hearing from you!
